1st Meeting of the 3rd Editorial Board of CCPR Held
On the morning of Dec. 23, 2017, the 1st Meeting of the 3rd Editorial Board of China City Planning Review (abbreviated into CCPR in the following part) was held in the Beijing Conference Center.
Prof. Mao Qizhi, Associate Chief Editor of CCPR, presided over the meeting. He announced the list of members of the 3rd Editorial Board of CCPR that had been approved by the Urban Planning Society of China (UPSC). Prof. Liu Jian, Managing Chief Editor and Director of the Editorial Department of CCPR, delivered a report on the achievements made by the Editorial Department in 2017 and the work plan for 2018. Then members of the Editorial Board who attended the meeting made their respective contributions and carried out heated discussion on topics such as how to further promote the quality of CCPR and how to expand the international influence in the new era. In addition, some members who could not attend the meeting in person participated in the meeting via internet and contributed their constructive suggestions. At the end of the meeting, Academician Zou Deci, Chief Editor of CCPR, delivered a summary speech. He pointed out that CCPR is both an important journal in the field of urban and rural planning in China and an important platform for introducing to the world the urban and rural planning and construction patterns applied in China. What’s more, he encouraged the Editorial Department to put more efforts into CCPR editing under the support of the 3rd Editorial Board and stressed that the work should be carried out all the time.
